Peer Review Process
The Journal of Contemporary Research in Business and Innovation (JCRBI) applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of all published manuscripts.
- Initial Screening
Each submitted manuscript is first reviewed by the Editorial Team to ensure its compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before entering the review process.
- Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
Both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other throughout the process.
The reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
- Originality and contribution to the field
- Theoretical and methodological rigor
- Clarity of presentation and logical consistency
- Relevance to business, management, and innovation contexts
- Review Decision
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept without revision
- Minor revision required
- Major revision required
- Reject
- Revision Process
Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated by the same reviewers when necessary.
- Final Decision and Publication
The Editor-in-Chief, together with the editorial board, makes the final decision regarding publication. Once accepted, the article proceeds to copyediting, proofreading, and layout stages before publication in the next scheduled issue.
- Review Timeframe
The review process typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and author response time.
JCRBI is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and timely review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly works.
