Abstract

Digital transformation has become a strategic necessity for rural micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance competitiveness, operational efficiency, and business sustainability. This community service program aims to empower traditional snack MSMEs in Cingcau Village,  Bogor City, through sustainable entrepreneurship digitalization by integrating Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and the Circular Economy concept. The program employed a Participatory Action Research approach, encompassing initial assessment, digital literacy training, mentoring in the application of BI and AI for production planning and marketing, implementation of circular economy–based waste management, and business performance evaluation. The results demonstrate an improvement in MSME digital literacy, an average increase in revenue of 27.4%, a reduction in production waste by 24.7%, and enhanced efficiency in data-driven production planning and marketing. Furthermore, a shift in mindset was observed among MSME actors, from intuition-based business management toward data- and technology-driven decision making. This program confirms that the integration of BI, AI, and the Circular Economy is effective in promoting sustainable entrepreneurship among traditional culinary MSMEs and has strong potential to be replicated as a digital and local wisdom–based rural MSME development model.
