Abstract
Digital transformation has become a crucial factor in enhancing the competitiveness of creative micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the areas of marketing and sales. However, limited digital literacy and a lack of understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications remain major challenges for MSME actors. This community service program aims to strengthen the capacity of creative MSMEs through AI-powered content creation training to support digital marketing and sales performance. The program was implemented using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, consisting of needs assessment, AI-based content creation training, implementation assistance, and program evaluation. Participants included creative MSMEs operating in the culinary, fashion, and craft sectors. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ ability to independently produce digital marketing content, increased efficiency in content creation time, and enhanced engagement and sales performance after the adoption of AI-assisted marketing strategies. The program demonstrates that AI-based content creation is an effective tool for empowering creative MSMEs and has strong potential to be replicated as a technology-driven community empowerment model.
